Although a relatively new bar in town the Black Isle Bar has a bit of history. The brewery was started back in 1998 on the Black Isle on Allangrange Farm. Allan Grainge means 'A fertile field of corn' in Gaelic. The farm dates back to the 1790's producing grain for local brewers and distillery's, grown organically, without the use of destructive chemicals, which is still the case today. Serving a wide range of cask and keg beers, which can be enjoyed on the rooftop 'Secret Garden'.

When you're ready to move, have a look outside at the uppermost sign board on the front of the building... what is the last word ?
